Dog Care Rules

Daycare and Boarding Requirements

Our policies are designed to keep every dog safe, comfortable, and part of a balanced pack environment. Clear guidelines help us maintain a clean facility, structured routines, and positive social experiences for all guests. We ask every pet parent to review these requirements so their dog’s stay is smooth, safe, and enjoyable from the very first visit.

Vaccinations and Health

For the safety of every guest, dogs must be current on required vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. Dogs without up-to-date records cannot be admitted. We also recommend waiting at least seven days after a veterinary visit before bringing your dog in. Like any place where animals gather, there is always a small risk of airborne illness, even among vaccinated dogs. While vaccines greatly reduce that risk, they do not eliminate it.

Age and Spay/Neuter Policy

Dogs must be at least four months old and cleared by a veterinarian to participate in group play. To maintain a stable social environment, dogs are required to be spayed or neutered by six months of age.

Boarding and Payment Policies

Reservations are required for all boarding stays. It allows us to manage space properly and maintain a comfortable environment for every dog. All clients must keep a credit card on file, and payment is due at the time of checkout.

Leash and Facility Rules

For safety, all dogs must remain on a leash while in the lobby and throughout the facility during arrivals and departures. Our operating hours are posted on our website and at the facility entrance. The building is closed to the public daily between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., except on Sundays.

Medication Policy

We are happy to administer routine medications according to your instructions. However, we are unable to provide life-sustaining or emergency medical treatments.

Normal Play and Minor Scratches

Dogs at Bones N’ Biscuits spend their days in supervised social groups. Because dogs naturally play with their mouths and bodies, it is normal for them to come home a bit dirty or with the occasional minor scratch. This kind of play is part of healthy social interaction, similar to how children may come home from sports practice with grass stains or small bumps. For your convenience, we offer pet spa services and recommend scheduling a bath at pickup if your dog has had an especially active day.

Late Pickup and Overnight Stays

Dogs cannot be discharged after closing hours. If you’re running late, please call us. We’ll be happy to keep your dog overnight so they can stay safe and comfortable. For boarding guests, checkout time is 12:00 p.m. If pickup occurs after 2:00 p.m., when the facility reopens to the public, an additional daycare charge will apply.
