Thing to Know Before Your First Visit
Bones N’ Biscuits was built to serve more than just our facility. We’re part of a local community that cares deeply about animals, and we believe supporting that community is part of doing business the right way. When we can help local rescues, shelters, and community programs, we do.
Bones N’ Biscuits provides dog daycare, overnight boarding, and pet spa services. Each service is built around supervised care, structured routines, and a calm environment designed for your dog’s comfort.
Yes. All new dogs must complete a complimentary temperament evaluation before joining daycare or boarding. This helps us understand your dog’s personality and ensures they are comfortable in a social environment.
To keep group play safe and comfortable for every dog, we’re unable to accommodate certain breeds or their mixes — including wolf-hybrids, bully breeds (American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bull Terriers, Welsh Terriers, and Wire Fox Terriers), Akitas, Dobermans, Malamutes, and Rottweilers. Friendly dogs of all other breeds who interact well with people and other dogs are welcome to join the pack. Unsure about your dog? Text or call us at (207) 383-2663 — we’re happy to help.
Dogs must be current on rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations. Up-to-date records are required before any daycare, boarding, or spa services can begin.
Dogs must be at least seven months old and cleared by a veterinarian to participate in group play. Dogs are required to be spayed (if 6 months or older) or neutered (if 12 months or older).
Each day follows a structured routine that includes supervised group play, scheduled rest breaks, and calmer activities. Dogs are placed into playgroups based on size, temperament, and energy level to create balanced interactions.
Most dogs go home relaxed and tired after a full day of social play and activity. It’s normal for dogs to drink more water and enjoy a quiet evening after their visit.
Yes. Our overnight boarding program follows the same structured approach as daycare. Dogs enjoy supervised play during the day and rest comfortably in a calm, clean environment at night.
Yes. Boarding stays require reservations so we can manage space and maintain a comfortable environment for every guest.
We can administer routine medications according to your instructions. However, we are not able to provide life-sustaining or emergency medical treatments.
Yes. Our pet spa provides gentle, calm grooming services to keep your dog clean and comfortable. Many clients schedule spa services during daycare or boarding for added convenience.
For daycare visits, all you need is your dog on a secure leash. We provide the supervision, structure, and environment they need for a full day of activity.
For overnight stays, we may recommend bringing your dog’s regular food and any necessary medications. Our team will provide guidance when you schedule your boarding reservation.
New clients begin by scheduling a Meet & Greet so we can evaluate the temperament of your dog. Once approved, your dog can participate in daycare, boarding, or spa services.
